Volunteer Opportunities
The Winston Prouty Center offers various opportunities for our friends and supporters to volunteer – from helping at our annual fundraising events, campus and trail maintenance, and special projects.
Events
Early Childhood Day of Play – June 27, 2026
Volunteers needed to lead children’s activities (sensory, art, water) and set-up/clean-up.
Prouty Pickles – July
Volunteers needed to pick-up donations, prepare ingredients and process pickles.
Outdoor Movie Night – August 21, 2026
Volunteers needed to sell refreshments and raffle tickets and for set-up/clean-up.
Foliage 5K – October 10, 2026
Volunteers needed for race registration and time keeping, trail cheerleaders, and set-up/clean-up. See photos from last year’s 5K.
Bingo Night – March 2027
Volunteers needed to welcome players, sell food, run the gameplay (calling and flipping numbers, running prizes), and set-up/clean-up.
Ongoing Opportunities
We can always use a helping hand! Examples of activities include:
- Campus trail clean-up
- Spending time with children in our Early Learning Center
- Early Learning Express bookmobile – book repair and vehicle washing
