Our Campus
The Winston Prouty Center for Child and Family Development purchased its Austine Drive campus in 2016. Since then, Winston Prouty has relocated its services and child care programs to the new location and taken on management of the sprawling, 180-acre multi-building campus. Now well-established in this new location and familiar with the property and its tenants, Winston Prouty is taking steps to steward the campus in a way that serves as a broader community asset.
The campus includes three large buildings, two former dormitories, five cabins and more than 100 acres of forested land. The Winston Prouty Center, which operates a licensed child care program serving children ages birth to age 5 as well as community based services that provide support to families and children, occupies one floor of Thomas Hall and rents out the remaining space to local businesses and non-profits organizations. There are spaces available for long-term lease and short-term rentals. To see what is currently available, visit our Available Space page.
The campus is open to the public from dusk until dawn. A system of trails is available for the community to enjoy. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Click here for a trail map
