Day of Play
Saturday, June 22nd, 10:00am – 12:00pm, Winston Prouty Campus
Join us for this fun-filled event for young children and their families! Early Childhood Day of Play is a free event designed for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers.
Children will enjoy activities including water play, fairy-house building, sensory activities, gross motor fun, dramatic play, finger & face painting and more!
Other activities include:
- Live animal presentation by The Caterpillar Lab
- Interactive science program by the Nature Museum at Grafton
- Make a fruit pizza by the Brattleboro Food Co-op
- Free cupcakes by Vermont Country Deli & yogurt cups by Commonwealth Dairy
Parents and caregivers can access resources and ask questions from Winston Prouty’s early childhood experts on topics such as developmental concerns, behavior challenges, child care financial aid, and postpartum support. Our nursing team will a professional scale available for weighing your baby and a lactation-trained nurse available for support.
The event is rain or shine. With inclement weather, the gathering will move into the Winston Prouty Gym (60 Austine Drive).
