2025 End of Year Giving

Since 1969, the Winston Prouty Center has been committed to developing solutions to the challenges facing families in Southeastern Vermont.  

We believe that there is hope for every child to thrive, given the support, love, resources, and education they need.  

Here’s how your donation can help us change lives: 

• $1,000 covers utilities in the Family Shelter for one month, providing a warm place for families to get back on their feet  

• $500 pays for a month of early intervention services for a family including developmental education and speech, language, and physical therapy 

• $150 provides a safe supervised visit for children to spend time with a parent they don’t live with 

• $50 funds a session of our pregnancy support group hosted by a licensed nurse and lactation specialist 

• $25 replaces a well-loved book in our Bookmobile library to bring literacy enrichment to rural childcare programs
