The Pumpkin Promenade 5k & Kids Fun Run
The Gathering Place, now in Brattleboro and West Dover, Vermont, is holding its 2nd Annual Pumpkin Promenade, 5k & Kid’s Fun Run on Saturday, October 19, 2019. Pre-register online at gatheringplacevt.org. On-site registration starting at 8:00 a.m. at Retreat Farm, 45 Farmhouse Square, Brattleboro, VT.
After the race visit the Goat Playground at Retreat Farm, grab a maple creemee in the store, and enjoy pumpkin carving, face painting and lawn games! Honeycomb Coffeehouse will be on-site!
This family-friendly event will start at 9:00 a.m. with a timed 5k race and walk. The 5k will start at the Retreat Farm entrance, follow the scenic West River on Route 30, traveling on Upper Dummerston Rd. and back. Prizes for fastest runners and best costume will be awarded.
At 10 am the Kid’s Fun Run around Farm House Square (.10 miles) will take place with all participants receiving a prize.
