Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate this final year of our signature annual fundraising event! The Taste of the Town was started in 1990 and has been a wonderful way to raise funds for the programs of the Prouty Center as well as celebrate the work that we do. This Taste topped them all with one of our largest crowds, live music and dancing to end an evening of delicious food and fabulous auction items. The Butterfly Swing band was fantastic and played their “fun, danceable joyous music with a classic swing groove” (check them out on Facebook!).
Governor Shumlin proclaimed May 10th as Winston Prouty Day so a celebration was certainly in order!

This event could not happen without the generous donations of area restaurants and chefs, artists, merchants and florists, as well as the many volunteers who help pull it all together. Please check out our Sponsor List!
