A Party in the Winter Month concert

Come join the Windham Philharmonic for “A Party in the Winter Months” at the spacious Winston Prouty Campus Gymnasium on Sunday, February 12th at 3:00 P.M!

Music Director Hugh Keelan will lead the orchestra in a music program that will make you want to dance—and all ages will be encouraged to participate! The program includes “La Gazza Ladra” by Rossini, Turkish marches by Beethoven and Michael Hayden, a polka by Smetana, the thrilling “L’Arlésienne Suite No. 1” by Bizet, and, as a bonus, contradances taught by Louisa Engle! This will be a unique opportunity to enjoy a symphony orchestra accompanying contradances, so bring your dancing shoes and socks. Beginners welcome!

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. All proceeds will be split with the Winston Prouty Center.

The Winston Prouty Gymnasium is at 60 Austine Drive in Brattleboro. Plenty of parking spaces are available. Admission by donation. Masks are encouraged. For additional details, please visit the Windham Philharmonic website at www.windhamphilharmonic.org
