Par for the Cause 2020 Enjoy some mini-disc-golf fun on the beautiful Prouty campus in support of local children and families! Sponsored by: After postponing our original Par for the Cause indoor mini-golf fundraiser twice, we’re excited to share a re-visioned event on June 27-28, 2020! Small groups of individuals (up to five people) are invited to play a family-friendly game of disc golf on our campus trails and fields. The self-directed games will include disc golf holes created with the whimsy of classic mini-golf that will be fun for all ages and skill levels. Groups of up to 5 can sign up for their own ‘tee-time’ at 15 minutes intervals to ensure players maintain required physical distance from each other. Groups larger than 5 should reserve 2 time slots. The cost is $20 per group. Each group fee includes one ticket to a raffle for a $100 gift card to the Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery and a $25 gift certificate to Bella Notte restaurant. At the end of the course, there will be a free farthest throw challenge. Farthest throw prize for littles: $5 gift certificate to Life is Sweet Candy store and for adults: $25 gift card to the Brattleboro Food Co-op. The Winston Prouty Center for Child and Family Development supports hundreds families each year through our Early Learning Center, which provides high-quality, inclusive care to 68 children ages 6-weeks to 5 years and our Community Based Services, which include Early Intervention, Lactation Support & Postpartum Home visiting, Family Supportive Housing, Early Childhood Family Mental Health, Child Care Referral, Child Care Financial Assistance, Child and Adult Care Food Program, and the Early Learning Express Bookmobile.
